Most personalized Santa videos show Santa talking to the camera from the North Pole. The four kinds of personalized Santa videos
- Santa message videos. Santa sits in his workshop and talks to your child, often using their name and a photo you upload. Many are free or cheap and arrive in minutes. Santa is at the North Pole, not in your home.
- Live video calls. A real person dressed as Santa chats with your child at a booked time. Very personal, usually the most expensive, and needs scheduling.
- Do-it-yourself AI tools. Apps and websites where you upload a photo and write your own prompt. Fast, but you do the work and results vary.
- Santa caught on camera in your home (HoHo Cam!). Not a message: proof. Santa visits your real room on Christmas Eve, “recorded” by a security camera, and says your child's name. Done for you and checked before delivery.
They're not mutually exclusive. Plenty of families use a message video in December and save the camera footage for Christmas morning.
What gets personalized
- Your room. Your photo is the starting frame: your tree, your sofa, your decorations.
- Your child's name. Spoken by Santa and shown on the name card, spelled exactly as you type it. Add a pronunciation hint for unusual names.
- Language. English or Spanish voice.
- The story. One visit (Single video) or a video for each sibling (Pack of 4 videos, up to 4 children).
What we don't personalize: your child's face or appearance. We never ask for photos of children and we only need first names.

How ordering works
- Choose a pack and upload one photo of your living room or tree, taken from up high in a corner. No people in the photo.
- Type the first name exactly as Santa should say and show it. The form previews the line, e.g. “Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, Emma!”
- Confirm and pay once. Within 48 hours you get an email with your HD video. Download it and keep it forever.

🔒 Download your video and keep it — it's yours forever. To protect your family's privacy, we delete your photo 30 days after delivery and remove your video from our servers after 60 days. Your download link expires then, so save your copy.
AI disclosure: Santa, his motion and his voice are created with AI video and voice tools. The security-camera look is a creative effect, not real CCTV footage, and we're not affiliated with any camera brand. Every video carries a small “AI” label and is checked before delivery.
Questions parents ask
Is there a free personalized Santa video?
Yes, several sites offer free Santa message videos, and they can be lovely. HoHo Cam! is a paid product with no free tier, because each video is made from your own room and checked before delivery.
Can I include siblings?
Yes. The Pack of 4 videos ($39) covers up to 4 children with one video each, each saying that child's name.
Can Santa speak Spanish?
Yes. Choose English or Spanish when you order. The Spanish line sounds like “¡Jo, jo, jo! ¡Feliz Navidad, Emma!”
Do you need a photo of my child?
No. We never ask for photos of children. One photo of your room (with no people in it) and a first name are all we need.
Can I change the name or get a refund after ordering?
All sales are final, so please check the spelling before you order. If we make a mistake (wrong name or spelling compared with what you typed, a different photo, or a broken file), we fix it free. See the sales & refund policy.
