HoHo Cam! makes personalized Santa videos. We collect as little as possible, use it only to make your video, and delete it quickly.
What we collect
- Your email, to deliver your video and send order messages.
- Your room photo, to create the video.
- Your children's first names, pronunciation notes and language choice, so Santa can greet them.
- Payment details are entered with our payment processor. We see only whether payment succeeded, never your full card number.
We don't ask for children's photos, last names, birthdays, schools or addresses, and we don't collect information from children. Orders are placed by adults.
How we use it
Only to produce, quality-check and deliver your order and answer your questions. We never sell or share your personal information for advertising, never use your photos or videos in marketing without your separate written permission, and never use them to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
Website hosting and storage (Cloudflare), payment processing (Stripe), AI video and voice generation providers (to render your video), and a transactional email provider (to deliver it). Each receives only what it needs for its part of the job.
How long we keep it
- Room photos: deleted 30 days after delivery, from our servers and our video-generation provider.
- Finished videos: removed from our servers 60 days after delivery, when your download link expires.
- Order records (email, pack, amount, date) are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Why we delete your photo and video
Your photo shows the inside of your home and your child's name. We only keep it as long as needed to make and deliver your video, then delete it from our servers and our video-generation provider. Less data stored means less risk.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your photo, names and video at any time, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing [email protected]. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights too; we don't sell or "share" personal information as those laws define it.
