Yes, you can get a video of Santa in your own living room without setting up any camera. Take one photo of the room with your tree, from up high in a corner. HoHo Cam! uses it as the starting frame, so Santa walks past your sofa and leaves gifts by your tree in a night-vision security-camera style, then says your child's name. Delivery within 48 hours, from $19.
Photo checklist
The photo is the most important part. A good one takes two minutes:
- Go high. Stand on a sturdy chair or hold the phone above your head in a corner of the room, tilted slightly down. That's where a security camera would be.
- Go wide. Use the regular or wide lens and get the tree plus some open floor in front of it. Santa needs room to walk.
- Lights on. Turn on the tree lights and a lamp. The night-vision look is added later, so a normal, well-lit photo works best.
- Nobody in the shot. No people and no pets. We never use photos of children.
- Hide anything private. Move mail with your address, documents or family photos out of view.
- Hold the phone horizontally if you'll watch on a TV.
- Decorated is better. Take it once the tree is up, so the room looks like it will on Christmas morning.
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 10 MB.

From photo to footage
In the real example above, one ordinary photo of a family's living room became the opening frame of the video. Everything around Santa (the walls, the sofa, the tree) comes from that photo, so children recognise their own home right away. Santa's motion and voice are generated with AI video and voice tools, and every video is checked before delivery.
No chimney? No problem.
“How does Santa get in? We don't have a chimney!” is one of the most common Christmas questions. The footage answers it: he's simply there, in your room, tiptoeing past the furniture. Some families add that Santa has a magic key that opens any door. It works the same in a house or an apartment.

Questions parents ask
What if my living room is small or messy?
Ordinary rooms work well. That's the point: it should look like your home. Just tidy anything you don't want in the video and keep some floor visible in front of the tree.
Can I use an old photo?
It's best to use a photo of the room as it looks this Christmas, with the tree up, so the footage matches what your child sees in the morning.
Will my children appear in the video?
No. Only Santa appears. We ask for first names only, and the photo must have no people in it.
Is there an app that puts Santa in my living room?
There are photo apps that add a Santa sticker or still image to your room, and do-it-yourself AI tools. HoHo Cam! is a done-for-you video: Santa moves through your room, says your child's name, and every video is checked before delivery.
Is it safe to upload a photo of my home?
Your photo is used only to make your video. We delete it 30 days after delivery, and the video is removed from our servers after 60 days. Hide anything with your address before taking the photo.
Which languages can Santa speak?
English or Spanish.
